Game of life

I. We play by its *RULES

Life is and isn’t

Life is hard.
Life is inspirational.
Life is expirational.
Life rules us.

Most of our lives we play as we go.  We play with a hand we’ve been dealt with.  Some things we didn’t have a choice in; our parents, our gender, color,  nationality –our name.

We are still uncertain of what is certain.
But one thing is ascertained by those of us living.
And what would this be you ask?

Why awareness of course.
That we exist.
And everything else after that has a price.

Life isn’t fair.
Stacking the deck.
But life isn’t to be played with.

Life can be blissful and blistering all at once.
One thing may work today but by tomorrow fail.

Life isn’t tricky.
It’s just intricate.

Life isn’t just a teacher.
It’s a broker of opportunity.

It leaves clues and evidence.
Some are laid bare in the open.
Others are locked away entombed.

Hints can expire in a moment while hard fast truths never fade from overuse or forgetfulness.
